Welcome!
Where do we start?! Well, I guess to say: We all wish we had gotten in on a ground floor opportunity and now regret missing out (Pete & I maybe more that anyone). This ground floor opportunity may provide only bragging rights and some real excitement, but an opportunity just the same. So stay with us. This will be a great view into the development of a TV show by 2 absolute outsiders of the entertainment business but seasoned insiders of the Fire Service!
Quickly, a brief background: Pete & I (Steve) have been at this for some time. Our concept originated in October of 2006. We have copyrighted the concept in the United States Copyright Office, registered with the Writers Guild Of America, created a production company, bla bla bla. To drag a blog through all that from 2006 to present would be sooo boring.
But now we are ready to launch. And now, we will tell the story one step at a time. Once the show begins to air, this blog will move to a different level, and take you all on the road with us. By then you will truly feel as much a part of this project as we are.
Feel free to ask questions, critique, what ever. If we don't have the answer or know how to field your suggestion, maybe one of our Brothers or Sisters of the Fire Service does; maybe someone in our production crew does. Throw it out there.
So welcome . . . to Heroes In The House

ReplyDeleteWe can't wait for you to come to Providence for the Italian show down. There's going to be a lot of trash talking and laughing that's for sure.
ReplyDeleteSteve - Let me know when you are in Washington state. I would be happy to show you around the Pac NW. We have it all: smoke jumpers, local volunteer fire departments and municiple stations. All with access to great seafood and farm fresh produce and locally raised beef, pork, lamb, and chicken.
