New Feature: Recipe Of The Week

Pete and I rarely use "Recipes". Pete NEVER does. He's very creative. I'd like to think of what we will be offering up in our new, weekly feature as "guidelines".

"Formula" is a word I've read in bread-baking books. Making bread, the kitchen does pretty much turn into a laboratory, but you'll never see either of us in Lab Coats. And we don't USE test tubes and beakers for that anymore.

We kind of "formulize" as we go, but not entirly. Pete shoots from the hip, I cling to a game plan, and ad-lib.

Recipization. That's what we do. Recipization. From just a name of a traditional dish, Pete will start throwing things together, I'll try to organize what he's doing into a plan and contribute until we have an ass-kicking dish that blows everyone away. Recipization. Look it up.

Anyway, look over to your left and look for our new word. Click on it and you'll go right to the list of recipizationisms.

A new one will be posted every Sunday evening. Just remember, these are firehouse meals. Feel free to recipize all you want. Be creative. That's the fun of cooking, isn't it?
